We are excited to announce that MGA has won three of twelve 2015 AIBC Architectural Awards, for our Wood Innovation and Design Centre and the new Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon. The AIBC Architectural Awards are presented every two years, showcasing innovation and excellence in architecture around the province.
We are proud of these awards that recognize the passion and dedication of our design and construction teams. Each of these projects reflects a commitment to meaningful innovation, and to delivering buildings that reflect the story of the community in which they live.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE BC & YUKON
Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon provides a “home away from home” for out of town families with children receiving medical treatment at BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital. While the social nurturing and connectivity created by the architecture is most important to the success of the project, we also introduced significant innovations in mass timber construction.
WOOD INNOVATION AND DESIGN CENTRE
The Wood Innovation and Design Centre is one of the tallest contemporary wood buildings in North America, and features an entirely new way to build tall buildings in wood using a series of innovative technical and construction details that can be adapted for use in future structures.
