As MGA’s Portland office is coming up on its first anniversary we have some exciting news…..

After almost 4 years at MGA Vancouver, Sindhu is packing up her wagon (in this case a Chevy Impala) and heading down to MGA Portland. In 2009 Sindhu moved from Toronto to Vancouver to attend UBC, and fell in love with the city.  She will miss bike riding along the Sea Wall and through Stanley Park, but is excited to check out a shop in Portland that specializes in women’s bicycles.

Q: What will you miss most about the Vancouver Office?

A: The office pets Luna (cat) and Fisher (dog). And all the wonderful people here.

Q: What are you most looking forward to being in Portland?

A: Exploring the city with my camera in hand. Being able to take the train back up to Vancouver – They have wifi on the train!

While at MGA Sindhu was extensively involved in the design and construction of the
Wood Innovation and Design Centre (WIDC) in Prince George, BC. For the past year she has been on the design team for the Forest Science Complex project at OSU. Being in Portland will enable Sindhu to be close to the project and coordinate the construction phase with the MGA Vancouver Office. We’ll miss her daily presence and humour in the Vancouver office and look forward to her train trips across the border.
